Been obsessed with Mitre ever since visiting London back on 2005. I ate there every night for a week. Now I look at the menu online and dream of days past.

Prix correct.

Really nice Sunday roast, beef was a bit overdone and chewy but we didn’t let that spoil it. Delightful cauliflower cheese, great Yorkie and the veg was nice and tasty. It was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday afternoon so a slightly loud group of lads dominated the atmosphere a bit. Really friendly service from all the team, we were checked on by everyone who walked past us on multiple occasions. The pub has for sure recently been refurbished and is shiny and new looking, toilets are already a bit battered though but that could be a sign of a big weekend of Oasis concert goers, so benefit of the doubt. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, good food, decent selection of beers, nice decor and most importantly great team.
