Fajny las, dużo zieleni, sporo ścieżek do spacerowania. Idziemy przez niego wybierając się na kopiec Piłsudskiego. W środku lasu znajduje się krakowskie ZOO. Widzimy tu różnorodność terenów, są tu niewielkie wąwozy, wzgórza, ogólnie krajobraz krasowy. Po lesie kręci się dość dużo osób, jest to bardzo popularne miejsce na piesze wędrowki.
