The first zoo in Krakow was established back in the middle ages, but it did not operate for long, with the earliest record of captive animals dating back to 1406. The next mention of a public zoo dates to 1927, when it was decided to locate it in the middle of the Wolski Forest. When it opened, citizens saw more than two hundred birds and animals. Almost unscathed by World War II, the Krakow Zoo is a great place to relax at any time of the year, and its unique location in the center of the forest allows for many hours to be spent here. One of the features of this zoo is a mini-zoo that operates every day from half past nine until half past two, where children can see various animals, including llamas, feed them, and even play with them!

Накануне отъезда из Кракова решила наконец-то посетить его зоопарк. Он не очень большой, тем не менее, здесь хватает животных. Кстати, зоопарк довольно чистый, видно, что за его обитателями ухаживают. Все животные живут в вольготных условиях, что не могло не порадовать. Мне удалось побывать здесь в первой половине дня, когда народу было не слишком много. Но буквально через несколько часов в зоопарке начали образовываться толпы из шумных детей и родителей. В целом, здесь можно провести час или два. Советую посмотреть на гиппопотамов, милашек-сурикатов и львов.

Dal by som 5 hviezd, parkovisko hore pri zoo bolo male, cize sme parkovali na dolnom a s kočiarikom ist hore cca 15min po lesnej cestičke. Dosť od ruky a parkovne 32zl za 2.5h, dost drahé necelých 8eur. Inak príjemná zoo aj minizoo, nie veľa zvierat, ale fajn na oddych..
