Pera Museum in Istanbul
About
Nestled in the vibrant Pera district of Istanbul, the Pera Museum, established in 2005, offers a blend of modern and historical art set within a charming, converted hotel space. Children and adults alike can appreciate its eclectic exhibits such as ceramics, Ottoman period paintings, and a fascinating display of Istanbul maps from the 15th to 18th centuries on the 3rd floor. The first floor pays permanent tribute to Osman Bey, with notable pieces including "The Tortoise Trainer" by Osman Hamdi as part of Suna and İnan Kıraç's private collection.
Art lovers will enjoy a fluid mix of contemporary art on the upper levels, Turkish historical artifacts, and rotating temporary exhibitions like the current feature on Paula Rego. Additional amenities include a rich museum shop and a spacious café perfect for a leisurely break. Accessibility is ensured by an elevator serving all 5 levels, making the museum convenient for all visitors. Tickets are priced at 100 TL for adults and 50 TL for students, offering an enriching cultural experience in the heart of Istanbul.

Çok güzel.. herkesin gitmesi gereken Bi müze özellikle kaplumbağa terbiyecisi tablosunu gerçeğini canlı canlı görmek mükemmel Bi his
