This museum tickled my literature taste buds. The art - books, movie posters, comic books and vignettes of old movies - was so neatly and tastefully arranged! There is security at the door to ensure that everyone's safe. They're very welcoming and helpful. There are also personnel on each floor available to answer any of your questions. I just enjoyed walking around and being surrounded by literature - each section with its own theme. There are three floors to explore. Apparently, they change the theme quite regularly and there are exhibitions every so often. I would have loved to see that. It is insane to see how much Istanbul's culture has influenced western movies over the decades. I would highly recommend this experience to art and literature enthusiasts who need a quiet moment to contemplate art. The museum isn't too crowded with tourists and it's free! No flash photography but you can take photos.
