Galata Tower in Istanbul
About
The Galata Tower in Istanbul, designed by Köksal Anadol, stands at 63 meters and boasts a rich history since its opening in 1349. A popular historical attraction, this 11-story tower offers visiting tourists breathtaking 360-degree views of Istanbul from its top. The tower is surrounded by charming cafes and souvenir shops, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely visit.
The highlight of any visit to Galata Tower is undoubtedly the spectacular panorama of the city, best experienced in the evening when the city lights up. With an average Google rating of 4.7, visitors are thrilled by its beauty. However, it's good to know that the site is not accessible for infants, toddlers, strollers, or individuals with mobility issues.
For the best experience and to beat the queues, aim to arrive early in the morning. Admission tickets to the observation decks are priced at 33 Euros per person. If you're looking for a quieter spot to view the city, consider the Sky Bar at the JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel in Karakoy. Don't forget to bring a camera to capture the stunning vistas from the top! After its restoration, Galata Tower reopened to the public in May 2024, ready to charm visitors anew.

Sympa pour la vue sur la ville mais il faut avoir de la chance pourne pas avoir une file d'attente d'une heure. Nous sommes venus à 11h00 et c'était parfait après 13h00 compter une heure d'attente sous le soleil. 30 € l'entrée.
