«Булгур палац» - прозванный так из-за своего первого владельца - Болулу Мехмет Хабиб-Бея, разбогатевшего на торговле зерном и получившего прозвище «Король Булгура Хабиб-Бей», теперь открыт во всей красе для всех желающих. Особняк 1912 года постройки представляет собой яркий образец гражданской архитектуры тех лет и несомненно является украшением района Фатих. В своё время за долги владельца особняк перешёл в собственность банка. Долгие годы использовался как банковский архив и место жительства банковских служащих. Со временем был полностью заброшен и превратился в тень прошлого великолепия. Всё изменилось в 2021 г, когда Муниципалитет Стамбула приобрел его у частного владельца. Была проведена масштабная реставрация, и в 2024 г особняк во всей красе открыл свои двери для жителей и гостей Стамбула. Теперь здесь на нескольких этажах открыты читальные залы с библиотекой. На верхних этажах проходят выставки (в настоящее время фотографии). Из окон особняка и террасы перед ним открывается вид на Мраморное море, проспект Кеннеди и въезд в автомобильный подводный туннель Мармарай «Евразия». Во дворе расположилось муниципальное кафе «Белтур». Вход свободный. Не могу сказать, что это мега-достопримечательность. Сейчас по Стамбулу много таких мест из серии «вернем жизнь заброшенному историческому зданию». Так что специально ехать сюда смысла не вижу. Но если будете в этом районе, то можно и заглянуть, здание действительно красивое.
