Ayın Biri Kilisesi'nin asıl adı Vefa Aya Kiryaki Kilisesi'dir. Fakat kilisenin "Ayın Biri" olarak anılmasının sebebi, niyette bulunacakların her ayın ilk gününde buraya gelerek dilekte bulunma geleneğinden geliyor. Ben de burayı duyduğum beri merak ediyordum gerçekten görülmeye değer bir kilise dilekleriniz için anahtar alıyorsunuz niyet ediyorsunuz ve kilisenin altında bulunan Ayazma da şifalı olduğu söylenen su ile elinizi yüzünüzü yıkayabiliyorsunuz. Oldukça kalabalık bir yer erken saatlerde gitmek gerekiyor.
