This museum is located on the left side of the entrance to Gülhane park - former imperial garden of Topkapı palace, very close to main historical sight-seeings, such as Topkapı Palace, St. Sophia Cathedral, Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque), Yerebatan Cistern and other. This museum can be a dream for book lovers in the heart of old Istanbul. It is set in a restored historical building, this museum-library. You can explore the rooms dedicated to famous writers, see handwritten manuscripts, and sit down with a book and tea in the beautiful garden. Quiet, charming, and full of soul just like Tanpınar’s novels. A hidden oasis for anyone who loves books and timeless places.
