Uitbater Bolle, oftewel Bernard Baudewijns, weet wat goed koken is. In zijn zaak betaal je iets meer dan in de meer toeristische zaken in de Kuip van Gent, die vlakbij is, maar de kwaliteit is navenant. Er staat altijd wel een goede steak-frietvariant op het krijtbord. De kleine zaak en open keuken zorgen voor een vermakelijke sfeer. De locatie en interieur is niet zo dender en klein restaurant,met terras voor de deur waar konstant auto's en bussen voorbijrijden. De serveur die was wel zeer vriendelijk,Kent zijn job!! Het eten is lekker,maar niet voor te over roepen. Wel positief ,je ziet de chef t'is een open keuken.

Had hier een topavond samen met mijn broer. Enorm lekkere en authentieke keuken. Wij hadden mergpijp en pomme moscovite als voorgerecht die beiden heerlijk waren, gepaard met verrassend lekkere Loirewijn. De schotel met gegrilde schaaldieren als hoofdgerecht was absoluut smullen. Een topper waar we nog zullen terugkeren!
