About

Quadrangle in Galway offers an enchanting glimpse into history and architecture with its 175-year-old limestone structure adorned in vibrant ivy that changes to a deep red hue, providing a truly mesmerizing sight. This Tudor Gothic building serves as the heart of the University of Galway, reminiscent of Oxford's Christ Church in design, making it a significant cultural landmark. A visit here is suitable for children and is both free and accessible to the public, though a gentle stroll on the surrounding paths is encouraged to maintain the pristine condition of the grounds.

This is a nice little spot on University grounds to walk through or relax for a bit. Not sure why this is listed as a tourist attraction, as it’s part of the University. People can walk through and it’s lovely but it certainly isn’t an attraction.
