El Restaurante La Caravella está ubicado a solo unos minutos a pie de la Plaza de San Marcos. Abrió en el Hotel Saturnia a principios de la década de 1960. La decoración interior del establecimiento está inspirada en el interior de un antiguo galeón, con un enorme timón de barco situado en el centro de la sala. Gracias a que tanto el director como el personal del restaurante tienen en alta estima las tradiciones culinarias de la Bahía de Venecia, el establecimiento ha sido reconocido por la Guía Michelin.

My wife and I came to La Caravella 7 years ago on our honeymoon and loved it so much we thought we would take our two daughters this time. From the moment we stepped into the resturant all the staff treated my wife and daughters like royalty, they couldn’t do enough. From pulled all their chairs out and providing cushion to my daughters. The food was as incredible as we remembered, each dish was explained and the knowledge of the wine was second to none. Thank you to everyone for making yet another perfect and memorable meal for my family. We will be back again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great experience whilst in Venice, whether you are a couple or family with young children. Grazie Mille.
