Das Restaurant La Caravella liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Markusplatz entfernt. Es wurde zu Beginn der 1960er Jahre im Hotel Saturina eröffnet. Die Inneneinrichtung des Hauses ist nach dem Inneren einer alten Galeone gestaltet, komplett mit einem riesigen Schiffssteuerrad in der Raummitte. Da sowohl der Direktor als auch das Personal des Restaurants die kulinarischen Traditionen der venezianischen Bucht hoch schätzen, wurde das Haus vom Michelin-Führer anerkannt.

My wife and I came to La Caravella 7 years ago on our honeymoon and loved it so much we thought we would take our two daughters this time. From the moment we stepped into the resturant all the staff treated my wife and daughters like royalty, they couldn’t do enough. From pulled all their chairs out and providing cushion to my daughters. The food was as incredible as we remembered, each dish was explained and the knowledge of the wine was second to none. Thank you to everyone for making yet another perfect and memorable meal for my family. We will be back again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great experience whilst in Venice, whether you are a couple or family with young children. Grazie Mille.
