From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the owner, even though the restaurant was fully booked. That kindness alone set the tone for a wonderful evening. I ordered the Kabab Kobideh and Chenjeh Kabab, and they were absolutely amazing – the best meat quality I’ve had, perfectly juicy and full of flavor. I travel all around the world and have visited many Persian restaurants outside of Iran, but this is truly the best Persian restaurant I’ve ever been to in the whole of England. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the hospitality are unmatched. A special thanks to the owner, who is incredibly kind and friendly. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Persian cuisine!

Konj Cafe is a hidden gem in Edinburgh! The food is absolutely incredible—full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with care. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, something you don’t experience at many other restaurants in the city. I tried Tahchin here and absolutely loved it! The flavors were authentic, the rice was perfectly crispy, and the yogurt side made it even better. The Sabzi Panir with Sangak bread was such a perfect starter. Highly recommend if you want a real taste of Persian comfort food.
