St. Kilian’s Cathedral in Würzburg, Germany, is a majestic Romanesque church dating back to the 11th century, considered one of the largest of its kind in the country. Though heavily damaged during World War II, it was carefully rebuilt and today stands as a symbol of faith and resilience. Its impressive twin towers, striking interior with Baroque and Gothic elements, the beautiful Schönborn Chapel, and tombs by master sculptor Tilman Riemenschneider make it both an artistic treasure and a place of prayerful serenity.

Absolut beeindruckend . Das strahlende weiß beim Altar. Schade das dieser Dom so zugebaut wurde von anderen Gebäuden. Er verdient eine Alleinstellung. Eine der schönsten Kirchen Süddeutschlands .
