Maravillosa. Una de las más exuberantes grandiosas y variadas que he visto en mi vida. Entrada paga de 5.5 euros x adulto. situada en pleno casco histórico de Cuenca y declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad, es uno de los principales símbolos de la ciudad. Construida entre los siglos XII y XIV, combina estilos románico y gótico anglonormando, lo que la convierte en un ejemplo único en España. Su fachada neogótica, levantada en el siglo XX tras el derrumbe de la original, impresiona por su majestuosidad, mientras que en su interior destacan la girola, el altar mayor, las capillas laterales y el claustro. Además, alberga un importante museo catedralicio con valiosas obras de arte religioso. Su ubicación privilegiada en la Plaza Mayor la convierte en un punto de referencia obligado para quienes visitan Cuenca. Fachada inacabada por cosas del destino pero es igual de grandiosa.

Ik betaal eigenlijk nooit om een religieus gebouw te bezoeken maar heb het deze keer toch gedaan en we hebben er geen spijt van. Het is prachtig. Mooie architectuur, indrukwekkend. Ze wisten wel hoe ze de mensen onder de duim moesten houden, het gebouw straalt dominantie en autoriteit uit. Maar wij mogen daar nu van genieten
