La verdad que la comida estaba deliciosa, muy recomendable las fatayas tanto de carne como de pollo y el maffe muy bueno también, una ración generosa. Muy buen lugar en el que se encuentra a escasos minutos de la playa con una buena terraza. El servicio es algo lento y la carta de los precios no está actualizada siendo más cara de lo que indica. Pero nos fuimos con una buena experiencia

Siempre nos inspira confianza que a una cocina propia de un país acudan clientes procedentes de ese país. Esta es una de las características de Mapenda, si bien la clientela local de origen también está presente. “Mapenda” significa “mucho amor” en wolof, la lengua nacional más hablada en Senegal. El nombre ha sido un acierto: se hace evidente al llegar que este local se ha abierto con mucho mimo. Aunqure no es grande, se hace agradable por su decoración cuidada. También cuenta con terraza provista de sombra. El personal es de naturaleza amabilísima y el ambiente resulta acogedor y cordial.
