Kirai Bathhouse in Budapest
About
The Király Bath was handed over to Budapest by the Ottomans, who ruled here in the sixteenth century. That's why its exterior resembles a classic Turkish bath with the characteristic dome often seen on mosques.
Király is the most ancient thermal bath in all of Hungary, as evidenced by the specially unrestored wall and façade tiling. Inside the building, there are four pools available to both men and women. The only age restriction is that visitors must be at least 14 years old. In addition to everything else, the bathhouse includes a Thai massage parlor and a manicure service.

A Király Gyógyfürdőnek nincs közvetlen melegvízbázisa, a Lukács fürdőtől kapja a vizet. A fürdő magyarosított nevét is a családról kapta. A II. világháborúban a fürdő megrongálódott.

This place deserves 5 ☆ Even if some give it less! Why? Because it's very, very old, but still standing tall and proud of an era bygone which we lost for lack of appreciation and respect! I was there and it was impressive! Please understand that places like this deserves at the very least, that we respect it and treat it with dignity. Things build now a days fall apart only after a few years, while this building has withstanded the test of time. Something seldom in this era. With deep respect and missing it.....
