Decided to give The Winkle a try for a Saturday afternoon lunch. The staff were more than happy to move our table into the shade due to the hot weather. The food was delicious and the wine was great to enjoy with the amazing views of the pebbled beach and ocean. We had a chat with the owner who clearly is very passionate about his business. Highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful first anniversary dinner and drinks! The staff were so friendly and personal and the views from the tables at the top at sunset were beautiful of the west pier. Food was amazing. Would recommend to anyone especially the delicious chocolate brownie for pudding.

The crab crumpets are to die for! So good, I ate here both days of my weekend break. The hospitality of the owners and staff was exceptional- many thanks to Owen, PJ and all. The Winkle deserves every success. If you’re in Brighton… just go.
