Had the burrata to start and then fish and chips for my main. Although both dishes were beautifully presented the burrata was bland and the batter for the fish and chips was oily and tasteless. I took all the batter off and found the fish equally as bland. The chips were lovely and so was my side of samphire. Great service, lovely drinks and atmosphere just a little disappointing with the food.

Amazing place with a lovely team of staff who really make the experience warm and welcoming. The food looks absolutely stunning,beautifully presented and appetising. I tried the salmon tartare, which looked amazing, though the crostini was unfortunately very hard, possibly from being prepared too far in advance. The fish and chips also looked fantastic, with a crisp golden batter, but the fish lacked seasoning, just a touch would have lifted it. The chicken roast was a highlight, the gravy was phenomenal. The kale, however, would be easier to enjoy if cut into bite sized portions. The potatoes looked amazing with a nice crust, though again, some seasoning would have made them perfect. Overall, I still gave 5 stars because the experience was worth it, and I believe a few small improvements could take the food to the next level. Writing this in detail because I genuinely want to share helpful feedback, I’ll definitely be back!
