The best sushis in Bern hands down. Closest to traditional in the food and the vibe. Very respectuous waitresses. You can try and enjoy all the different sushi they have and pair it with delicious sake. Better to make a reservation.

A hidden sushi bar tucked away in the old town of Bern. I had been searching for traditional sushi that could match the incredible flavors I experienced during my trip to Japan last summer — and I finally found it, or at least something very close. The menu is very limited, with no inside-out rolls or overly elaborate creations — just like in Japan. Nigiri, sashimi, and maki, all crafted with care. The quality of the fish is outstanding — I’ve never had such melt-in-your-mouth sushi anywhere else in Switzerland. It’s a charming little bar that invites you to watch the chef skillfully prepare each piece. The staff, made up of Japanese women, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Overall, the whole experience brought back a wave of nostalgia and beautiful memories from my time in Japan. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but fair by Swiss standards. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese sushi, this is the place to go!
