I had my best ever cinema experience in this cinema, thanks to the "Once upon a time in the West" projection on July 5. This summer, Kant Kino is having a summer film festival with a lot of classics for a very reasonable ticket price. I only tried Saal 1 and my favorite row is J (6th row): from there you get to see the whole screen in your view, without being too close or too far. Pick seat 8 to be perfectly centered. It is an old theater which has been modernized so the layout is reminiscent of old cinemas with the screen being high on top, something I wasn't used to but it is just different. The screens and sound systems have been modernized quite recently. I was blown away by how the electric guitar, soprano voice and harmonica sounded in "once upon a time in the west": every instrument was very majestic and grandiose and I was truly bewildered that an old 1968 movie could sound that good (Not sure if it is merit or the audio system or an extremely high quality film copy). The seats are extremely comfortable and you can recline them too. The staff seems very friendly and they could also kindly assist me in English when needed. All in all, Kant Kino was a pleasant surprise for me as I lived nearby for many years without noticing it. I think it is definitely worth to try it! Going to the cinema can be a much better value than watching a film at home. Highly recommended!

Das Kino kann man wirklich empfehlen. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Tolles Kino
