The Botanical Garden in Berlin is the oldest and largest not only in Europe but also in the world. Spanning 43 hectares, it houses greenhouses with magnificent collections of various carnivorous plants that consume insects, cacti, orchids. In total, the Botanical Garden boasts 22,000 species of diverse fauna representatives.

There is also a unique garden of scents and touch, covering a whole 3,000 sq. m. It was specially created for visually impaired people and those confined to wheelchairs. Initially, this garden was intended as a recreational area for city dwellers with ponds, manicured lawns, and elegant sculptures. However, it gradually became a major center for scientific research.

Visitors to the garden should not miss the tropical greenhouse, where numerous exotic plants bloom all 12 months of the year. Additionally, one can see the giant bamboo and walk through the alpine garden, which showcases the flora of mountain regions from around the world.
