The Botanical Garden in Berlin is the oldest and largest not only in Europe but also in the world. Spanning 43 hectares, it houses greenhouses with magnificent collections of various carnivorous plants that consume insects, cacti, orchids. In total, the Botanical Garden boasts 22,000 species of diverse fauna representatives.

There is also a unique garden of scents and touch, covering a whole 3,000 sq. m. It was specially created for visually impaired people and those confined to wheelchairs. Initially, this garden was intended as a recreational area for city dwellers with ponds, manicured lawns, and elegant sculptures. However, it gradually became a major center for scientific research.

Visitors to the garden should not miss the tropical greenhouse, where numerous exotic plants bloom all 12 months of the year. Additionally, one can see the giant bamboo and walk through the alpine garden, which showcases the flora of mountain regions from around the world.

Wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen und runterkommen vom Großstadt Trubel (der Platz würde sich mit ein paar Veränderungen was die bewäldung angeht sehr gut zum Golf spielen eignen)⛳️

Einfach nur Wow……. Ich wollte schon lange in den Botanischen Garten in Berlin. Und endlich hat es geklappt super mit den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln hingekommen. Eintritt 10€ ist auch ok. Es ist unglaublich was es dort alles zu sehen gibt an Pflanzen. Die Gewächshäuser von außen und alles so gepflegt und sauber. Leider hat es etwas geregnet aber das war nicht schlimm. Ich muss da unbedingt nochmal hin ☀️ Leider ein kleines Manko….. die Herrschaften am Eingang bei denen man den Eintritt zahlen muss….. Leute lächelt doch einfach mal ein bisschen das macht den Tag schöner. Und es wäre nett wenn man als Besucher eine Frage hat das man Antwortet und nicht nur Kopfschütteln Handzeichen und irgendwohin zeigt. Danke ☀️
