The massive Berlin Zoo, spanning 35 hectares, is situated almost in the city center. It is unmatched anywhere in the world in terms of the number of animal species it houses. In total, there are 1500 species.

Additionally, there are darkened rooms for nocturnal animals to live an active life. The three-story aquarium deserves special attention, where in addition to fish, various species of reptiles, insects, and amphibians are displayed.

Feeding the zoo's inhabitants is allowed, but only with food that can be purchased from vending machines. The Berlin Zoo achieved its greatest popularity after the birth of Knut - a polar bear cub in 2007, whose name was chosen by the entire country.

Dans l’enclos pour caresser les animaux (notamment des chèvres ,ânes ) un poney y est logé mais n’as ni de poney accompagnant ni assez de place pour se défouler

Mitten in der der Stadt eine Oase. Ein Besuch unter der Woche ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das neue Raubtierhaus ist wunderschön geworden! Ich kenne noch sehr gut das alte, das war nicht schön, weder für die Tiere noch für die Besucher. Für Kinder ein besonderes Erlebnis. Meine Enkel und ich waren wieder begeistert.
