Stumbled upon this place on a hot summer day while wandering around after the Gothic Quarter. I hadn’t planned to stop, but I’m so glad I did. Inside was cool and calm, with comfy chairs and locals reading or using the library’s computers. I didn’t see any English books, but maybe the staff could’ve helped,so I read my own. Now I’m sitting in the garden behind the building, and it’s just as lovely. It’s nice to see locals actively using the space.
