Im quirligen Zentrum Antwerpens liegt sie gut versteckt die Vlaaikensgang, eine schmale, kopfsteingepflasterte Gasse aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Wer sie findet, betritt plötzlich eine andere Welt – kühl, still, fast geheimnisvoll. Die dicken Mauern spenden Schatten, der Lärm der Einkaufsstraßen verstummt sofort. Der Eintritt ist frei, und obwohl die Gasse nur kurz ist, wirkt sie wie ein Ort zum Innehalten. Zwischen den charmant restaurierten Häuschen verstecken sich heute hochwertige Restaurants, Galerien und Ateliers – stilvoll, aber gehoben.
