We loved this little museum. We came across it by chance and I was very excited in particular to see Munch's work. The staff were very friendly and chatted with us during our visit. I would definitely recommend it if you're visiting Antwerp.

Discovered this place randomly actually. And it was fantastic, for such a small museum. Quite dense with many artpieces. Really made me appreciate the artists much more, showing a different type of art they produce than the ones I had been familiar with. But beware, it is quite depressing 😂 it got me thinking quite a bit on their lives and the motives they were going for, especially Munch. But nevertheless, I would come back again 👍 A high highlight

Grand little gallery showing Antwerp's links to art across Europe with a tightly-curated selection of works. Had a long insightful chat with Ann-Marie who works there who added a lovely bit of colour to our visit! World-class art, dead central, and friendly workers
