Die Lage ist sehr schön mit Blick über den Platz. Die Tische und Stühle sind eher zweckhaft als schön/bequem. Der Service war leider gar nicht gut, wir wurden mehrfach ignoriert, als wir uns bemerkbar gemacht haben hiess es, man komme gleich und ist dann trotzdem nicht gekommen. Von den auf den Tischen angepriesenen hausgemachten Limonaden waren an einem ruhigen Montagnachmittag mehrere nicht mehr zu haben. Bezahlen mussten wir drinnen, weder der Kellner zuvor, noch die neue Kellnerin kamen mit dem Zahlterminal zu uns, obwohl sie dies zuvor gesagt hatten.

Ein herber Verlust, dass das Lokal schliessen muss. Der langjährige, unprätentiöse, ja subtile atmosphärische Beitrag des Piazza und seiner Crews zum öffentlichen Leben auf dem Idaplatz - da geht ein Stück wertvolles Zürich verloren.
