La Fuente de la Hispanidad se encuentra en la Plaza del Pilar de Zaragoza, España. Fue inaugurada en 1991 con motivo del V Centenario del Descubrimiento de América. Su diseño, obra de los arquitectos Francisco Javier de León y Álvaro Abril, representa el mapa de Latinoamérica en forma de hendidura sobre una gran superficie de agua. Además, incluye un surtidor central que recuerda a una blanca vela —alusión a las carabelas— y un bloque de mármol que evoca la figura de la Virgen del Pilar, patrona de la ciudad y símbolo de vinculación con el mundo hispano. La fuente rinde homenaje a la cultura compartida entre España y los países de América, destacando valores como unidad, heritage y fraternidad.

Fontana molto particolare, proprio accanto alla Basilica del Pilar. Vista dall’alto rappresenta il continente americano, ed è una delle più grandi fontane moderne di Saragozza. Di giorno colpisce per la sua forma insolita, e di sera, con le luci, diventa ancora più suggestiva. Perfetta per una pausa, qualche foto o semplicemente per rilassarsi un attimo nella piazza. Non è una fontana classica, ma proprio per questo attira l’attenzione. Vale la pena fermarsi!
