La Fuente de la Hispanidad situada en la Plaza del Pilar, formó parte de las remodelaciones efectuadas en la plaza en 1991. Dedicada en honor a la Hispanidad, su figura dibuja el mapa de Hispanoamérica. Esta compuesta por una cascada, un estanque, tres bloques de diferentes dimensiones, que evocan a las embarcaciones de Cristóbal Colón y un globo terráqueo, realizado este último, por el escultor aragonés Francisco Rallo Lahoz.

Een anders dan anders waterval. Gelegen aan het einde van het plein van El Pilar. De fontein van Hispanidad is een aflopend bouwwerk dat Latijns-Amerika en het Caribisch gebied voorstelt en wordt aangevuld met drie prismatische betonblokken van verschillende afmetingen bedekt met wit marmer, die lijken op de twee karvelen en het schip waarop Christoffel Columbus aan boord ging, Deze waterval is gemaakt voor de 500ste verjaardag van de ontdekking van Amerika. Samengesteld uit een hellend gebied met water en een vorm op de grond van de omtrek van Latijns-Amerika.
