What an absolutely amazing space! These guys have created an awesome, inviting joint that is supported with the best food you can find in York. Coffee was proper dope, the head barista took care and passion crafting the tastiest coffee I've experienced in a long time 🤩. You must visit this place just to sample the sweet Spanish latte! We took a selection dishes off the menu from breakfast through to lunch finishing with sweetness that was out of this world. Pricing was very good and considering the proximity of the city centre you can't argue with the outstanding value for money. You have to visit - staff were so kind and everything came in a very good time. The kitchen, which you can see, well it's like a pure professional beast and the team just flowed. I can't tell you enough how good this place is so you have to get yourself a spot and sample some of the best and most tasty food you can find in York. Mad shout out to the crew taking care of us today! 😘😍❤️ You can bag a set of stickers and bamboo straws from rise. for a few pounds more, I love the sustainable ethos this eatery provides too. Keep up the amazing work 🔥🔥🔥🔥

A very busy cafe yet still quite charming and speedy service. The food was good. The chorizo that came on our meals was a bit tough and chewy but the rest of it was great, the poached eggs were perfect. It's a tad pricey for a cafe we paid £42 for two brunches and two homemade lemonades but York is just expensive all over. Would probably come again but may try some other brunch places first as there are lots within a small radius.
