A lovely overnight dinner bed and breakfast stay at this lovely traditional pub. Room was clean and tidy with a comfy bed and nice bathroom. We had dinner here and the food was really honest, well cooked and nice and fresh. Service with a smile and a nice selection of wines and local beer. Breakfast in the morning was really nice as well. The pub is set in a lovely little village with easy access to the local area. Anyone in the area really must visit. You'll not be disappointed.

Called in on a whim for Sunday Lunch as we had seen it advertised at the Blacksmiths Arms, Lastingham. It is owned by the same people and it shows. The food was excellent and drinks prices fair.
