About

The Sand Bridge connects the old part of Wrocław with Sand Island, which got its name due to a mistake in ancient translations, as reflected in the name of the bridge. A small architectural treasure of Poland, known since the 19th century. After World War II, Wrocław, like most other cities, was completely rebuilding certain parts of the city, including the reconstructed objects was the Sand Bridge: its appearance was completely modernized.
