About

The Vienna International Center is a rather large complex that has become the location for a UN office. The building was designed and constructed in the 1970s by Johann Staber. The complex includes six tower buildings that surround the central structure. The tallest tower has a height of 127 meters. It is worth noting that this place houses not only the UN office but also the offices of two major Austrian banks, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and several other well-known international organizations. It is worth mentioning that the center is located in an extraterritorial area, meaning it is completely free from the jurisdiction of local law.
