About

The tram museum is located in the former Erdberg coach house and was opened in 1966. The building is divided into five large halls, one of which (the main hall) is designed for the main exhibition, telling the general history of trams, while two others are dedicated to special and military trams. The remaining spaces are used for hosting various thematic exhibitions. In total, the museum displays over 150 trams collected from different corners of the world. It even houses the world's first tram, which is nearly a century and a half old.
