About

In the San Vidal church in Venice, concerts are held by the Interpreti Veneziani ensemble, which was founded in 1987 and quickly won the hearts of classical music lovers. Thanks to the incredible musicians and the beautiful, sophisticated concert hall, any listener can be transported into the atmosphere of the Venetian Republic era. The ensemble's repertoire includes the best works of composers from that time - Antonio Vivaldi, Giuseppe Tartini, and others. Before the concert, visitors can also explore the Music Museum located nearby, in the Church of San Maurizio. Here, tourists can admire a collection of ancient musical instruments for free.

What a sublime experience! There is so much dedication, talent and expertise to be seen and heard and the performers' emotions become physical vibrations which can be felt by the listener. These are not just musicians playing instruments to perfection, they are musicians who make their instruments sing and speak! Thank you Interpreti Veneziani!

The concert is located in a beautiful church. We did make sure to get to the venue early as we were informed you may not be sat with each other if you get there too late - all the seats were full by the time the concert started. We did apprectiate the rule of no pictures or videos during the preformance, it was nice to be present for the incredible concert. The musicians are all so talented and you can tell how passionate they are about their music. The one negative thing from this experience is that the seats were not very comfortable and were positioned very close to one another. My husband and I still very much enjoyed our experience and would recommend this activity while in Venice.
