Bardzo ładny park, ale czasami jego urok niestety psują pewne niezbyt kulturalne grupy społeczne, w nim rezydujące. Jak większość szczecińskich parków - posiada on długą historię i powstał z przekształcenia dawnego cmentarza (w tym przypadku cmentarz wojskowy dla pruskich żołnierzy szczecińskiego garnizonu).
