Good quality meat, thought the portion size could be bigger for their meat package, didn't love that they charge $6 for more lettuce to wrap your meat in to eat; desserts were disappointing

We went there for our anniversary and didn’t disappoint at all The atmosphere was such a vibe and the restaurant was clean and tidy.We were first greeted by Peter at the entrance and took us to our table. Our friendly and great server,Gino, was really helpful explaining the menu and recommending a couple things We ordered the set A small size and added on pork belly for $25 more and boneless short rib for $20 more Also ordered the beef tongue and Jap A5 Ribeye as A La Carte The Set A small size is a good portion for party of 2 Gino cooked all the meats for us and kept checking up on us through out the period and also having a great small conversation in between The highlighted beef cut of the night gonna be Jap A5 ribeye which is really soft and tender It melted right in the mouth and seasoned very well too I would recommend getting A La Carte if you are not a heavy eater ;) Also the side dishes went really well with the meal so don’t forget about those too Overall for our dining at this place ,I rate 5 stars for their service and the food I will definitely come back again in the future Dining at ABSteak is a one-of-a-kind experience Shout out to Peter and Gino again for their great hospitality and services they gave to us It was a great anniversary date night

This is such a long awaited review on ABSteak. I have monthly large dinner parties with 8-15 guests, and AB has been the gold standard for these dinners at the cadence of every 2 months. The main reason behind this is the great staff that make these large long dinner parties the talk of the group. I'm a little peeved that I didn't experience AB sooner, due to the subpar review from Infatuation. Thank you, to our always patient server David, our wonderful bartender, Daniel, Angel for always remembering us and the events manager, Steven. FOOD: Overall 9/10 AB WAGYU PIZZA - 6/10: Not bad, but just not WOW compared to their other offerings, I'd rather get ther Tartare than the pizza KOREAN BEEF TARTARE -10/10: I order this everytime, its so fresh, clean, and the perf bite SEAFOOD PAJEON -8/10: I'm normally not a big fan of seafood pancakes, but this was so good. EGG-SOUFFLE - 5/10: Mixed reviews on this, because the first time we ordered this with cheese, it was 100/10, but then another time we ordered it, and they no longer offered the cheese, and the bottom of the egg was burnt (the souffle just had this burnt taste throughout), had to send back. PRIME GALBI RICE - 10/10: So rich, "fatty", and flavorful. Def don't need much to share because it packs such a heavy richness. KIMCHI FRIED RICE - 5/10: Was not memorable, opt for the Galbi Rice every time. SOFT TOFU JJIGAE - 8/10: Their broth is SUPER umami, since I think they use anchovy broth. Flavorful, and so much depth. We always order this because we like to always have some type of soup before we start. But I would skip if had to really focus on other dishes. SNOW FLOWER KKOTSAL - 100/10: If you can only pick 1 meat dish, this is the cut you want. Trust me. WOO SUL (Tongue) - 100/10: Literally the best, and the yuzu that comes with this, makes the pairing my favorite thing from AB. MARINATED GALBI - 6/10: Wasn't memorable to me. Ordered only once ever, but I think it's because we preferred all there other meat dishes. A5 SATSUMA DEUNG SHIM - 10/10: I know since it's on the pricier side, its not like a HAVE to get, but it's def a NICE to have if you have enough people to have variety DRINK: 10/10 I hope I remembered the bartender's name correctly, and it's Daniel, maybe Nathan (sorry!), but drinks are soooo well made. Never had a bad cocktail from here, but the show stopper is def the AB Old-fashion. Wagyu washed rum, that is smoked table side. Say less. AMBIENCE: 100/10 Elevated and sexy without feeling stuffy. I love being able to wear a nice dress and heels, but still be able to laugh uncontrollably and loudly with my friends. This is the reason why our dinners here usually last 5 hours. (Also, the only KBBQ place where I leave smelling the way I entered.) SERVICE/STAFF: 1000000/10 Some of the higher-end restaurants in SF can come with pretentious servers, who seem disinterested in serving you but expect a 20% tip nonetheless. Which is why I appreciate every single person at ...
