A must visit San Francisco experience! The ferry ride to Alcatraz Island was quick, relaxing, and offered beautiful views of the city skyline and calm waters. Once on the island, I highly recommend purchasing the audio tour as it truly brings the prison’s history to life with powerful stories from former inmates and guards.
