Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at the bar. The beer was nice and cold, and the tapas were excellent — special mention goes to the Iberian cold cuts platter, the palometa with Roquefort montadito, the gildas, and the salpicón. The service was friendly, although a bit clumsy at first, not because of the crowd, but due to the heat and the laid-back atmosphere of a Sunday evening right after siesta — it felt almost like the “end of a party,” with a lazy air lingering around. We sat outside and were able to enjoy a bit of the city away from the mass tourism. In fact, our impression was that the bar caters more to locals than to tourists — which, for us, was a definite plus.
