About

Aviation enthusiasts should definitely visit the largest aircraft museum in Europe, located on the territory of the former Kbel military airfield in Prague. Some of the exhibits are outdoors, while others are housed in hangars. The museum was established in 1968. Today, it boasts 300 exhibits (140 of which are indoors). Part of the airplane collection is unique. In addition to aircraft, the museum displays mannequins in uniform, airplane parts, and other exhibits related to cosmonautics and skydiving. Interestingly, not even all locals are aware that such a museum exists in their vicinity.

The Kbel Aviation Museum is open from May to October. Admission is free.

Free museum with plenty of civilian and military aircraft from all periods of aviation. Don't hesitate to walk 10min to the second part, where you can see a dedicated part for Aero, the Czech jet manufacturer. Overall there are more than 300 aircrafts and helicopters to see !
