Visited Café David while staying at a hotel down the street. Quaint little corner stop. Run by the owner, David. Service was top class and friendly to Portuguese speakers and non speaker alike. We had pressed croissant mistos (ham and cheese), galões (lattes), and other breakfast fare from a regular bakery/pastelaria. All were exceptional. There were 6 people and a child just under 2. He accommodated a rather large group for a café. David was born and raised in Porto (100% tripeiro as he put it) and was very knowledgeable about the area and stories about the city. Was a coffee shop/tourism office. GREAT EXPERIENCE overall.
