Recomiendo visitarlo para conocer la historia y el arte de la Comunidad Foral, albergando colecciones que van desde la Prehistoria hasta el siglo XXI. Destacan sus piezas romanas como el mosaico de los Trabajos de Hércules, los capiteles de la catedral románica de Pamplona, la arqueta de Leyre, el retrato del Marqués de San Adrián de Goya, y una importante sección de arte contemporáneo que es intinerante. El museo se encuentra en el antiguo Hospital de Nuestra Señora de la Misericordia y ofrece un recorrido que dialoga entre el arte histórico y las expresiones más recientes. A las 11h hay una visita guiada, aunque en las salas dispones de documentación plastificada, sobretodo zona prehistoria, donde indica qué es cada objeto. No pudimos ver más que la planta baja y la primera dado que están de reformas y por eso es gratuito

Museo provincial de Navarra, visita muy recomendable. Una lástima que en nuestra visita las plantas de arriba estaban en obras y sólo pudimos acceder a las primeras salas de prehistoria y época romana, hecho de que actualmente sea de visita gratuita de forma temporal. Lugar muy limpio y todo muy bien expuesto, tienen baños y los empleados nos informaron en todo momento. Muy buena experiencia.

Interesante museo aunque ahora mismo sólo exponen parte de las salas dedicadas a prehistoria
