About

Shotover Country Park is a tranquil oasis just outside Oxford, perfect for a day of exploration and relaxation. The park boasts a unique blend of nature and recreation, with a diverse vegetable and tree plantation nursery that sparks curiosity. Multiple trail-ways invite visitors to wander, offering a chance to discover hidden gems that keep even regulars coming back for more. Wildlife enthusiasts will be delighted by the sight of the graceful Muntjac deer, often seen calmly grazing within close proximity, unperturbed by visitors. While it's not wheelchair accessible, the large stony path near the car park provides a rugged route for those who enjoy a more rustic walk. This is a haven for dog walkers, a serene spot for those waiting to pick up someone from Churchill Hospital, and a welcoming environment for individuals with autism. Whether you're setting off on foot to explore the numerous paths or planning a night under the stars in a camper van, Shotover Country Park is a place where nature's serenity meets the joy of discovery.

Google maps leads you right to the location but no where to park but there are car parks near by to enjoy the nice and relaxing tranquil surroundings
