Easy location without having to get involved with inner Oxford traffic. Good parking (but remember to log in your registration number at the cinema or you will get fined). Easy to book. Comfortable seating, plentiful clean toilets. I wish they would provide a small cafe area in that huge space where you could sit and have a drink and wait for a film to start if you arrive early, or where you could wait for someone you are collecting. Having nowhere to sit at all seems not customer friendly. They could generate more income that way.

Vue Oxford is a great cinema located near Kassam Stadium. Big screens, comfortable seating and solid sound quality make it a really enjoyable place to watch a film. I saw the new F1 movie there today and had a fantastic experience. It’s honestly disappointing to hear rumours that this site might be closed down to make room for laboratories. Taking away leisure spaces like this feels like a step in the wrong direction – people in Oxford deserve places to relax and enjoy themselves. I really like this cinema and would be sad to see it go.
