Very good clean indoor sports hall. I usually come here in the mornings to play some badminton. It’s nice and cheap. £10 per court and the court can cater up to 4 players. However renting the rackets and shuttles can be expensive so if you play badminton I recommend investing in your own gear. Going early in the morning is the best thing to do as there isn’t much people and no one else is using the court either.

Serviceable gym well suited to my personal needs. Older equipment with some gaps but sufficient in terms of squat racks, deadlift platforms, and Olympic bars/plates. Rarely needed to wait for a station. Never experienced extreme crowding. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. I'm only here a few weeks a year and they always unearth my profile and get my membership back up on running in a few minutes. The community is better than most commercial gyms. Clientele mind their business and don't do anything invasive or weird that I've seen countless times in other gyms (grabbing plates right off your bar without asking, reserving a rack for an hour to film themselves with an iPad ...). Nice rank of cardio machines upstairs, including some decent rowers. All in all a good experience, which gives my annual visits to Oxford from far, far away some much appreciated stability.
