Surprisingly good, given the location at a hotspot of Nice. We had ceviche, octopus Salas and tomahawk steak. The ceviche and the octopus salad were spiced perfectly and the steak was cooked to the point.

I used to LOVE La Villa Massenet when it was a simple, but nice cafe where you felt you could stay forever and almost feel like family. Now with the new decor, it's no longer inviting so I come very infrequently when I used to consider it my "canteen."
