Ich war heute mit einem Münchner Kollegen bei Lotus Kebab, der mir den Laden als echten Geheimtipp empfohlen hat. Als passionierter Döner-Esser war ich natürlich gespannt – neue Stadt, neuer Döner, neue Chance! Drinnen war es erstaunlich ruhig – warum, verstehe ich bis jetzt nicht. Vielleicht Münchens bestgehütetes Döner-Geheimnis? Jedenfalls hatte das Fleisch durch die geringe Nachfrage an einer Stelle eine leichte Bräune, die für meinen persönlichen Geschmack einen Tick zu viel war – nicht schlecht, aber halt „eine Idee zu durch“. Was dann passierte, war absolut top: Ohne Diskussion hat der Mitarbeiter direkt eine frische Stelle vom Spieß abgeschnitten und mir einen Döner ganz nach meinen Vorstellungen gemacht. Und das, obwohl der ursprüngliche Teil völlig essbar gewesen wäre. Die Kommunikation war locker, freundlich und einfach auf Augenhöhe – sowas erlebt man leider nicht mehr oft. Geschmacklich? Ganz ehrlich: 10 von 10. Frisch, würzig, perfekt abgestimmt – ein echter Genuss nach einer langen Anreise. Ich esse meinen Döner übrigens puristisch: Fleisch, Soße, Pulver scharf – keine Salat-Ablenkung, kein Schnickschnack. Wenn also einer weiß, wie ein Döner wirklich schmecken muss, dann wahrscheinlich ich 😄
