About

Khanittha Im Werksviertel in Munich's Berg am Laim is a go-to spot for lovers of authentic Thai cuisine. This casual and cozy eatery offers a taste of Thailand with a cool street food market vibe, perfect for family dinners or catching up with friends. The menu boasts typical Thai street food favorites like rolls, satay, and spicy curries, each crafted with very good quality ingredients. With meal pricing ranging from 20 to 30 EUR per person, it's an affordable option for enjoying flavorful Thai dishes.

The restaurant stands out not just for its food but also for its warm atmosphere and its welcoming stance towards all, including the LGBTQ community. You'll find a variety of diet options, with vegan, vegetarian, and healthy meals available. Whether you're dining solo or making it a night out, they offer an extensive selection of drinks, from cocktails to Thai milk tea, although the latter might benefit from fewer ice cubes.

Service is notably quick and efficient, with options for delivery, takeaway, or even a drive-thru for those in a hurry. If you're planning to sit down and enjoy your meal, reservations are recommended due to the place's popularity. Despite minor issues like the shrinking portions or a lackluster mango sticky rice, Khanittha Im Werksviertel remains a delightful spot to experience tasty Thai street food in a fashionably relaxed setting.

Tasty food, nice staff. My food took a bit of time to arrive. It was a little salty but otherwise good. I got chicken with veggies, can’t recall if it came with rice. Also got bubble tea. My friend got curry and spring rolls. Very popular place that doesn’t take reservations. The outdoor seating is backless and not super comfortable. Inside, they have a counter where you can pay that has lots of unique Asian snacks.

Kommen dennoch gerne wieder!
