Ich war am 30. Juli im Restaurant The Grill zu Gast. Das Ambiente ist ausgesprochen stilvoll und ansprechend, und auch das Essen hat in Qualität und Geschmack überzeugt. Leider konnte der Service an diesem Abend nicht mithalten. Es machte den Eindruck, als sei das Personal entweder überfordert, unterbesetzt oder wenig motiviert. Wir mussten sowohl beim Aufnehmen der Bestellung als auch beim Erhalt der Rechnung ungewöhnlich lange warten. Aufgrund der langen Wartezeiten habe ich mich gegen das Geben von Trinkgeld entschieden. Die Reaktion des Kellners darauf war leider unprofessionell – es gab weder ein freundliches „Auf Wiedersehen“ noch einen abschließenden Gruß. Gerade in einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich nicht nur gutes Essen, sondern auch einen durchgehend zuvorkommenden Service. In dieser Hinsicht gibt es aus meiner Sicht Verbesserungspotenzial.
