Ich habe schon lange keinen so rundum perfekten Abend mehr erlebt wie im Benko. Vom ersten Moment an war die Stimmung großartig – nicht zuletzt dank des unglaublich herzlichen und witzigen Kellners, der den Abend mit Charme und Humor begleitet hat. Das Essen war ein echtes Highlight: qualitativ hochwertig, liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich einfach herausragend. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit echter Leidenschaft und Sorgfalt gekocht wird. Die wechselnde, saisonale Karte ist klein, aber genau das macht den Reiz aus – man entdeckt immer wieder Neues und isst bewusst im Rhythmus der Jahreszeiten. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir eine großzügige Antipastiplatte mit Shrimps, Burrata, Vitello Tonnato, eingelegtem Gemüse, Oliven, Salat, Grillkäse und mehr – ein Traum! Danach folgten hausgemachte Spinat-Ricotta-Ravioli und eine herrlich aromatische Pasta mit Perlhuhnragout. Zum Abschluss ein luftiges Kaffeemousse – einfach himmlisch. Auch der Wein, vom Kellner persönlich empfohlen, passte perfekt zu den Gerichten. Das Ambiente ist ruhig, stilvoll und lädt zum Verweilen ein – die laue Sommernacht hat dem Abend das gewisse Etwas verliehen. Fazit: Ein Ort zum Geniessen, Entdecken und Wohlfühlen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Very cute restaurant with a very charming French owner (waiter?), who told us the Menue in person, there were no Print out Menues available. We went on a Friday evening and sat outside, the restaurant was full. The starter, a ceaser style salad with mushrooms came relative fast. It’s was a well rounded dish. For the main dish, we had to wait very long, almost 1h45minutes from when we arrived. I had the salmon which was delicious, but I was still a bit hungry afterwards. Luckily the owner gave us complementary deserts for the long waiting time. Overall a pleasant experience.
